WELCOME TO MATRIX EARLY LEARNING – GOVERNMENT FUNDED KINDERGARTEN

Kindergarten is an important step for your child. It provides them with a solid social and educational foundation that they will continue to build on throughout their schooling. At Matrix Early Learning in Fawkner, we are proud to provide government funded kindergarten, preschool and pre-kindergarten programs under the state government’s new 3-year kindergarten Best Start, Best Life scheme.

At kindergarten your child will grow socially and emotionally. Their ability to think, use and recognise language and their fine motor skills will be developed through play, art, dance and music.

Most importantly, your child will be learning to become an effective learner as they develop and extend their communication skills, build their self-confidence, learn to be creative, and develop skills that assist them with reading, writing and mathematics allowing for a successful transition to school.

Available for 3 and 4-year-olds, our kindergarten program has been tailored to suit your family’s work/life balance and provide families with the following benefits:

• Free kindergarten via our government funded program
• Bachelor qualified kindergarten teacher is available 5 days per week
• Convenience of extended hours allows for more relaxed transitions throughout the day
• Open 52 weeks per year including school holidays – allows working families to continue working with no disruption to their working hours
• Younger siblings can attend the same childcare centre, meaning no need for extra drop offs at different locations
• Healthy nutritious meals are provided
